Silks and Velvets: The Trendy Textures

With the revival of everything 90’s,  two materials have really made a comeback these past few months, silk and velvet. Silk slip dresses and tops are everywhere, and they made their debut several times during fashion month. Also, velvet has been a reoccurring texture present in the outfits of several fashion icons and celebrities this past year. Velvet boots and shirts were in demand on the runway of many prominent designers such as 3.1 Phillip Lim and Valentino.
